Even with a very small depth of field, you can still see a clear reflection in the drop of water. A bit more contrasted than yesterday's in the postprocessing.
I've always had a weekness for water droplet photos. Hopefully the minimalistic nature of yesterday's and the abstractness of today's makes these perhaps slightly more interesting.
I am also learning that my flash can be a very useful tool in macro shooting. Someday I hope to get the macro ring flash, but the 580EX works much better than I had anticipated. Just some fill flash here to boost the low clouded lighting.

Awesome. The detail and reflection in the swirling drop is great. Love the contrast and DOF. One of my fave waterdrop shots. . .
The grain works well here too.

The higher contrast and composition works well here, better than yesterday's. Wonder whether the DoF is perhaps a little to restricted? But that might just be personal taste.

I agree, the dof is a bit shallow, even at f/3.5. Unfortunatly, I was already shooting at 1/80 sec (slow for an effective 160mm focal length) and ISO 400.

It is amazing how God created the world so that even very small views reflect its beauty.
