Another one from the Superstition hike. The cliff face on the other side of the tripod is about a 2000 ft drop. I guess it wouldn't matter if you fell 100 ft or 2000 ft, you would be a gonner. This angle makes it look slightly closer to the edge than it really was, though it was still plenty close. This isn't the best photograph, but it does give you an erie feeling. I still have a few left from this series, but I might start posting Sedona photos soon.

Nik...I felt the same way as you when I saw this...a nice shot but lets hope the photographer doesn't get too into his cliff shots...we'd like to continue to enjoy his photography *grin*

Tripod's in a pretty precarious spot. :D I like the buildings in the distance; give's a real feel for how far down the drop is.

Nice depth in this one. And I like the tripod for perspective.
Speaking of which, I've been looking at getting a tripod. Any suggestions?
