I was trying to find a way to use these rather busy leaf shots and realized that could crop them into panoramics. The 10-22 isn't as sharp as the 17-40L, but it is still pretty good. This is my first vertical panoramic (though cropped from one image), and I decided allow for some extra vertical pixels, 1550 to be exact.

Wow, I think this would make an awseome picture for a jig-saw puzzle.

Very nice panoramic view Ryan. I love the saturation of the green. The only thing is it would probably have been a good idea to flip the image +/-180. Love your work, keep them coming.

Ryan, I have enjoyed looking at your photos - going back to June of 05. You are improving incredibly! The color and
composition is tremendous. Keep up the good work. You are definitely gifted! Bonnie

Wonderful. I love vertical panoramics... we rarely see them.
My only complaint is the top few inches or so... it seems a little blurred and not very well focused. Might just be me.
Also, the lighting could have been better (ahem.. ISO 400 ;-) But overall a good development of a good shot.

i Love the Colour! i like the way the leaves get yellower and redder up the photo. the gray rock makes a good background, and the pebbles at the bottom. i dont mind the way it fades out of focus at the the top.

Concerning the somewhat blurry top. That is due to 1. edge of the lens...not always the sharpest, and 2. The dof dictates that it should be blurry...haha.
Having said that, I did contemplate cropping of the top but felt it was needed. I wish it wasn't as "blury" as well.
Tristan, not sure what you mean by the lighting could have been better. There wasn't a lot of light, so I bumped the ISO up to 400, which with the digic II processor of the 20D is quite acceptable for noise...or lack thereof, in this case. If I would have had more light, I would have stopped it down to around f/10.
