It has been raining in the desert again. I've been wanting to get a shot of raindrops collecting on a window for a few months now, but they never seemed to turn out. The background wasn't right, or the lighting was bad, or something went wrong, but I am quite pleased with this photograph. Also, if you look closely (better viewed in the larger version below) you can see the inverted reflection of the sky in the droplets.
I have a background made (of the horizontal shot almost identical to this one), but I found that it's a bit too busy, and doesn't make for a very good background, so I have included a higher resolution image for your viewing pleasure. ;)

Total coincidence. This makes me wonder if I shouldn't have brightened mine up a bit more. I was going for more of a gloomy mood, but I very much like his as well. They are quite similar, and both have their strong points.
I am so very anxious to get my new design up.

Haha, yes Nik, they both have there pro's and cons. I'm glad it reminds you of your favorite song...
And yes it was a coincidence because I just discovered his blog yesterday and while looking through his recent photographs, discovered that one. :)
