I can see what you mean about the TOP (ie back) part of the plant not being in focus. . .There is great detail in the little rocks or w/e that are at the base of the plant though. Great color! :D
Thanks Angela. I do believe I have perhaps overdone the saturation this time. Late at night...two midterms the next day...not exactly thinking straight. :)
It took me all day to decide what I really thought of this photo... I would look at it, start to comment, look at it again, and decide since I had nothing intelligent to say about it, to wait till I could think of something.... now I look at this and think... Good photography, it is very nice!

I like the saturation of the pebbles - they also seem to be glowing, which is a very nice effect.

The plant is most definitly out of focus, if it was diliberate, the sharper stones in the foreground are distracting. nice photo all the same.

The plant is most definitely IN focus. The aperture is small, so I was only able to get the front part of the plant.
