I couldn't help but post a nature shot. I haven't in several days, and it's killing me! Well, not really, but I thought it would be a nice break from the ominious night shots of late. As you can tell, I did a bit of blur on this one (duplicate layer>gaussian blur>blending mode: darken).
I thought it would offer a different type of picture than my normal nature shots, as well as adding to the otherwize boring subject. The lighting was perfect so I just had to shoot a couple and they came out very well, so I decided I had better do something with them, at least. More night photos on their way...
I'd also like to wish my mother a happy birthday! Thanks for putting up with me all these years. Just a few more, if your lucky. ;)

Ryan - youre right - not a std nature shot, but I think this is very Monet-esque. I like youre macro stuff - keep it up ;)

Nice colors and color depth.
Mrs Rahn, with just a little more discipline, your son just might turn out OK, don't give up yet.

I do like the softening you applied to this shot, I feel it's appropriate and helps complement your subject. It's always good to try something new...and it's fun for all of us to see it as well, good work.

Yeah, it's a little out of focus, but still a nice shot. Beautifully framed and such a nice spring-greeting...
