I went shooting again today, but this time it was a bit hotter. We've been having a spring heat wave, and for us that means 110°+ (F). Just wait 'til summer. I'm not sure if I like any of the pictures, but I might post one or two to get your raction.

Definitly color for this shot, eh? haha. I should have used a smaller aperture, but I had it set lower as I wasn't anticipating shooting into the sun. The water wouldn't be as blurred either, though I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. This lack of aperture becomes even more evident in this shot. As you can see, the focus point is actually on the water, slihgtly behind the ducks.

At first glance, this second photo (which was actually shot prior to the posted photo) looks passable, and the ducks are in better form, but I chose to post the first for the better water as well as the focusing problem of the first. Plus, I actually thought of a name for the first photo...lol.

Note: I changed the border on the first theme slightly so a quick css update (refresh) will take care of that.

Amazing shot. I like how you captured a small reflection of the sun in the corner.

Unspeakably beautiful. I know you're not 100% pleased with the technical aspects, but to my untrained eye, it is perfect.

I agree, great capture of the light and the smoothness of the water despite it's gentle ripples. (I said RIPPLES not... oh never mind...)

I like the pose of the ducks better in the other one, but I like the focus and composition better in this one.

You still having to use your tele lens in MF mode?

I like the second photo's composition. Overall, colours of both shots are very nice.

~another fine silhouette, and the sun's light off the water makes the shot IMO...a bit hot from the top right, but overall a good snap!~

I agree with everyone, I like this one. You're right on the aperture, but still a very good capture.
