Finally the caterpillar pictures. Not to say I don't like them, but I would have posted something else had I had something better to post...and ready to post. It's already late enough and I am most definitely going to bed. Yesterday (it was actually this morning as I am writing this last night), I had a calculus final at 7:40AM; yes, on a Saturday. I was up until almost 3AM doing homework friday night. Not that I didn't deserve it, but I didn't get much sleep before my final. Went fairly well though. :)
Ok, for the shot. I found this caterpillar in our back yard while clearing it out. It's amazing what you can find in the dirt. For those of you who don't know, that's about all that's in our back yard at the moment. I instantly new what I would do with him: put him in a jar until the lighting became more favorable and then go shoot him...with my camera, of course. Turns out it was a bit harder than it sounded. He (if it was a he) wasn't very cooperative, but I did manage some shots. There are two or three more, but at the risk of posting 4 or 5 photos in one day, I've decided to split them up. These are two separate photos; the bottom one is not a crop. The greens were a pain to colormatch again...as they always are.
Also, thanks to everyone for all the wonderfull comments I've been getting lately!

Great soft shots helped by the extreme DoF - nice work. Your close-up work is really good.
