I took this on one of my spring break trips to The Lost Dutchman State Park in the Superstition Mountains. For some reason most of the shots of this mountain have very strange perspective. They all look like you could just walk right up to them when in reality they are thousands of feet high. It looks even stranger when there is a person in the picture. I'll explain more later.

Have a math test today...must study.

Thousands feet high? It looks like a small mountain. Haha! Really strange perspective. The colour is so nice! I like the shadows of another mountains.(?)

Math test. Yaiks.... scary. Good luck to you!

I love it, the red of the rocks is great and the path takes me all the way up there.

Niiice! I LOVE shots like this, especially of the Southwest.

Great colors and composition. The path draws me into those beautiful rock formations.

Words, of course, don't do this one justice. It's so sumptuous. Indeed, the lighting conditions give the mountain a magical quality.

Wow, I love the colors and composition. I like how you have the path in there. I agree with what your saying about the mountains. . .its kind of strange when you are half way up and you think you are almost there. . .

I like this one. Great foreground, though it could be a bit brighter. More contrast in the flowers maybe. Love the late light. Great shot.

I like this but I think it would have been more interesting if you would have taken the shot from a lower perspective.
