This is one of the Ocotillo plants in our front yard. I took the sunset without the plant, and I was originally planning on posting that, but it seemed a bit boring.

I like the angle you shoot this from.... and the sky is great, that takes a good timing.

beautiful, the colors are terrific! I especially like the changing shades of blue throughout the photo. And yes, it would be boring without the plant

Yes, the desert can be beautiful! Great job of capturing the arms of the ocotillo reaching up to meet the color of the sunset. I love the lighting and color.

I love the magical array of colours that only sunsets can give. I think the silhouetted cactus plants just add a depth of context.
You live amid beauty, Ryan.

this shot is . . . incredible? no, that word isn't good enough. :^) it's beautiful. truly and wondefully beautiful. it's one of those images that pulls a thread of a forgotten memory. does that make sense? well, I guess that dosn't matter -- I never make sense. but that dosn't change the fact that this picture is amazing.

I think you made a good choice on having both of them together. The 2 contrast so well together. Great work, as always!

always love the clouds and the sun like this, as if its burning the underside of the clouds. great silhouette

What a wonder. I like the fact that the sky ran from dark blue to bright orange. Very nice shot Ryan.
