An old water tower by a park where we live. I was going to apply some negative vignetting (to lighten up the natural vignetting that occurs from the lense), but when I made it darker, I actually liked it better. It enhances the blues around the edges a little as well as drawing attention to the center.

Great angle, it shows us how big the tower is.

The bumps underneath the thing are cool. It helps it show age.

Beautiful!!! I like the contrast between the faded red of the tower and the saturated blue of the sky. Also the warm tones. Excellent work.

It's HG Wells' land... the Martians are invading... no?
My vivid imagination. ;-)

great shot, the light really picks out the shapes and edges, intresting structure - it does look like its going to take off, a gettaway ship from men in black ;)

Great colours. Nice toning too. I agree, sometimes vignetting creates nice effect to a photo.

very well done, I am absolutly impressed by the vivid colors...the poor old water tower needs a paint job, but the lack of paint makes good detail in the photograph.
