Kind of a boring picture, but it gives you a bigger picture of what the canyon was like. This was only one of the viewing points so these strange formations extend for miles. I hope to get the panoramic processed when I return home. If I am bored enough in SD, I might get it done then.
Should be in SD today, though the blog is currently running on autopilot for a day or two where I'm not sure if I'll have internet or not.

Definitly not boring. You have to have some landscapes. I wish I was there...

Nice lighting again. The contrast and overall detail could be enhanced with a bit of unsharp masking.

Boring? It's a joke? Magical lighting, makes a 3D picture, wonderful textures. Yesterday I posted a picture inspired by your B/W flower shots with black background. I hope you don't mind ;-)

Awesome vista - as you are so capable of. But I have to agree with Abe - it needs a bit of a sharpening tinkle to help us see the crispness of those rocks below when constrained to these terrible low resolution display devices.
Bring on the 300dpi screens I say!
My sharpening rules are simple - strongly contrasted objects (eg against the sky) - don't sharpen or you get ugly halos, rich textures and other natural objects - sharpen the nuts off em!

Maybe a good thing you are in SD. I heard it has been pretty hot in AZ.
