The name almost sounds like something out of the Bible...haha...ok, maybe not, but it was all I could think of. As I was shooting landscape pictures in the canyon, I saw a couple of lizards. This one let me get quite close a couple of times. I know it's a little grainy, but I wasn't going to chance a slow shutter speed in the shadowy light with my telephoto. Smoother is better, but better grainy than blury. Hey, it looks more like film :P.
Leaving for Colorado Springs today to pick up mother on my way home. I had a great time in the Midwest but look forward to being back in Arizona. If only it weren't so far away.

Outstanding. I love that the focus is all on his face and eye and yes, what a great angel, never mind that the colour is amazing!

This has been a wonderful series, Ryan. Love this shot. At first I thought it was a snake but continued looking until I figured it out. Beautiful detail and DOF.

Excellent play with the DoF. And the focus is perfect where it ought to be!
