Sorry, couldn't come up with another title. Same tree, different view. It also seems like the horizon is tilted...both ways. The hill sloping downward makes it seem to tilt one direction and the rock angling slightly into the ground makes it seem to tilt the other direction...crazy illusion.
This photo is quite similar to yesterday's shot, but different in many aspects.

I so want to go there and see it myself.

The colours really pull me in and like Chantal, these shots really make me want to visit. If Mars had vegetation (or, in fact, a decent atmosphere) is this what it would look like? Just a thought. ;-)

I think I like this one better than yesterdays... it almost draws me into the picture as if I am actully standing there on that ledge looking out into the endless canyon... beautiful!

This stopped me in my photoblog surfing tracks. Wonderful colour, depth and lots of contrasting patterns and details. You are just gradually drawn into the picture from those rocks. Just lovely.

Looks great. Perfect composition, in half vertically and in thirds horizontally... just by the book! I also love the almost parabolic curve of the sand on the bottom. Good shot.
