Thanks for all the support and great comments on yesterday's shot. I appreciate your vote of confidence. I'm very glad everyone enjoyed it, but I still think it would have looked much better sharper. ;)

Today's is very similar to the ladybug shot last week, but I almost like this one better. While the shell isn't as sharp, the flowers give it an overal clarity...the focus seems to be a bit more "right". As you can tell, I like the color contrast between the bland, almost monotone background against the bright red ladybug. This photo has the same overcontrasted, high saturation feel as yesterday's and compliments it well (especially in color). I found that the big green background makes a great wallpaper, so I thought I'd share that as well.

Too bad the overall of the photo is not so sharp..... but I like the little red bug in the whote flower though.

I think 'not sharp' is what actually make this photo magical. Very nice and I absolutely dig it.

I like the way that the head is in focus in this photo (compared to the other ladybug picture-August 10). Good idea to make it into wallpaper! :-)

Excellent shots. Just found the page the other day, hope to see you roaming around Chandler someday.
