This is officially my 500th photograph to be posted on my website. I only began serious photoblogging about a year ago with the introduction of a comment system to my "photo of the day" style, but I start counting from the beginning as that is when the concept began. Eventually this site grew into the photoblog that it is today.

Many thanks to all who have commented for your support! I hope you have enjoyed my photography as much as I have. Many times it is a challenge finding a new photo to post every day, but it has been a very positive, exciting, and rewarding experience, and I hope it will continue to be as I continue to forge ahead to 1000 and beyond.

A little about the photo: This sunset was captured in Bryce Canyon, Utah, one of the more beautiful places in the southwestern United States.

no kidding! now I want to see Bruce Canyon! lol, it looks very beatuiful indeed. I love the shillouette (sp?) of the tree infront of the many colors and shadows in the clouds . . . it almost looks like something out of a dream.

Well done Ryan. My count is a bit over 400, so I'm not too far behind. I love this tree - it looks so ancient - I can almost sense the tens of thousands of sunsets it has witnessed in its life.

Well, I'd like to think I can. :)
