I didn't have time to go shooting yesterday, so after the dust storm (for those of you who don't live in the desert, dust storms are usually thousands of feet high and accompanied by thunderclouds) I went out side and shot a few cloud pictures from my back yard. No polarizer for this shot, amazingly. The pictures on which I used the polarizer were almost too dark and with less color.
The Rebel produces at least some noise even at ISO-100 which becomes more apparent at higher contrasts. This is an ISO-100 shot, but with the 20D's digic II processor (faster process speed + less noise), although at high contrast, even the dark blues and grays are as smooth as butter (which is much more obvious at higher resolutions).
This evening I'm having dinner and going shooting afterwards with Abe. We're hoping for a killer desert sunset and are headed to downtown Phoenix (relatively the same location as these panoramic shots).

Wow, great verdict for your new 20D ya. It does produces superb image quality as seen in this photo.
I like the dramatic clouds especially the semi-transparent cloud on the right. Well done, mate!

I know what you mean.Noise at ISO 100 can be really annoying. I envy you on your 20D :) This one is spotless!
