"Cactus TV"
General: 6:16 PM on 9/5/05 | Canon 20D
Technical: 1/160sec | f/3.5 | 100mm (160mm) | ISO-200
Lens: EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM
Exposure Mode: Av (Aperture Priority)
Exposure Bias: -1
Flash: 580EX (-1 FEC)

This shot (yet another of the cactus in our front yard) reminds me of two little green men inside the cactus watching the news...

"What a crazy world out there!", one says to the other, shaking his head. "Yeah, kinda makes you glad we're stuck in here.", replies the second.

"I wonder how many times that odd photoblogger is going to keeping coming out here and taking pictures of us." the first mutters, slightly annoyed.

Several days later...

"Oh look, here we are! Doesn't look to bad either considering this is only the six gazillionth time he's taken a cactus macro. He's getting pretty good at it, though you think he could find something a little more interesting with that new fancy camera he's got."

"Alfred, stop wasting time on the internet and help me put up this new satellite dish..."

I'm not the best at diologues, but in case you're still wondering, the spikes are supposed to be TV antenna.

I like the focus and the colour. Working with the right amount of depth.
