You might notice the slightly wider aspect ratio of today's photo. It is a slight crop in order to reposition the plant. This image can best be viewed in a larger size, as the detail and color seem to be diminished with the compression. Also, this is one of the rare cases in which a photograph looks better on a light background rather than the normal dark background.
I also got quite a bit of work on my exif script done. It took quite a while for me to get php5 installed on my comptuer (AppServ was being a pain). Once that was done, I proceeded to figure out the exif php function in detail. Then I wrote the script to parse the data and print out the relevant information. I also got quite a ways in comiling a custom php5 installation on my dreamhost server. Enabling exif is turning out to be much more work than originally planned, but I think I will continue onward untill I either give up or hit a major snag....or most likely, both.
...or maybe in a week or two you'll see an extra pop-up window with exif data inside, if all goes according to plan. ;)
I've also decided that the description text (what you are reading right now) looks better unbolded, so it should be a little cleaner now, and take up slightly less space. Note: you may need to refresh your the page several times (or clear your browser's cache) to update the .css file.

The pic is very nice, love the detail, and I do like the text unbolded. Good work :)

If the EXIF comes up in a pop up window. . .it will be blocked by most web browsers, unless you get everyone to put your site on the allowed list.
Nice pic to. However the water looks. . .dirty. . .for lack of a better word.
keep it up

Beautiful warm sunny tone to this image, and I don't think the water looks dirty at all. Great reflections from the grasses.

Thanks for the comments.
Concerning the "pop-up" window. It is a javascript popup, and the exif data will probably just be included in the "enlarge" pop-up window. Browsers don't seem to have a problem with those, as you are actually telling the browser to open it.
If you can open the "enlarge" window, you'll be fine. :)

The water is fine, people!
It's maybe not quite as smooth as some of my other shots, but it's not "bad", as you all seem to infer.
