Hopefully this shot will provide a better angle of the mysterious structure in yesterday post. I'm not sure exactly what it is, apart from just a piece of art outside the mall. Here is another shot from yet another angle.

I'm not sure if either of these are very good pictures, but at least they're not terrible, and I'm still sorting through the 200+ photos I took last night at the park, and the other 200+ from the evening before at the desert botanical gardens. Yes all RAW, which means another 3GB of hard drive space eaten up. Don't get your hopes up, however, as I'm not sure there are that many good shots.

Thanks for all the feedback on the themes. I am going to change the first one slightly (decrease the boldness of the white border), but other than that, what you see is what you get.

I like the angle you chose for this shot. Nice lines and colors.

I love the blue color of the sky with the yellow from the lines..... great combination.

The angle is also great!

This is a FINE shot - - I like the way you've included the additional piece, bringing in a parallel.

~nice lines here, especially the curve...I/eye almost wish the palm trees were not present though...keep my focus on the lines and not the bg...~

Ah.... Now I get the idea of what this structure is from your "Here is another shot" link. But the parked cars somewhat distracting. That's why you choose this one as your main photo. Haha!

Another problem when you take too many photos, aside from storage space, is to choose the good ones out of it and post process them. By the way, normally how do you handle excessive storage of space your photos? I'll be out of HD space soon too.

Another very good pic, Ryan. The other "Mayday" pics I think have more visual impact because of the more simple background. However, this one feels more "vacationy" and gives me more sense of place. I can't wait to see if you've got anymore from the park.
