Roosters and chickens were everywhere on the island, from the beaches to the rainforest...just roaming wild. I guess they got out one year during a hurricane, and started breeding...hmm.

This is sort of an abstract shot, as I caught it in motion. It's not as clear as I would have liked, but I thought I'd do something with it anyway.

I would have called it "Fast Chicken" not "Rooster Crossing" :) - interesting photo!

I must say, this is really a most colorful and brilliant photo. The contrast is stunning. I love how you painted the rooster to match the yellow lines on the road. Was the chicken running quickly, or were you running quickly with the chicken standing still? I am impressed with your photography on the whole, though I might suggest greater oscillation round the middle as you take your shots. Also, try taking out more pink.

Nik - you beat me to the chicken gag.

Love the feel of this shot. The motion blur adds to the story.
