We took a short, Sunday afternoon trip into the Superstitions yesterday. Many of the peaks were capped with newfallen (but not long lasting) snow, and we reasoned that it would be fun to track some down before the "winter" ends. Unfortunatly, most everyone else had the same idea. Narrow, winding roads don't lend themselves well to masses of cars. Anyway, I got some decent shots, but nothing spectacular as the desert is still pretty brown and lifeless (and we didn't venture far enuogh to reach snow). Perhaps next weekend it will green up some.

This shot was taken Saturday during our much welcomed and needed showers. Even though this is a vertical photograph, it is sharp, clear, and abstract enuogh to serve as a wallpaper. Enjoy!

Incredible how this could be a studio shot (due to the black background) !

Actually, I shot it outside...just muted, cloudy light. It was actually raining when I took this shot.
