And you thought it never snowed in the desert. Well, not in the low desert (or at least very very rarely), but the desert mountains do turn white once in a while...such as during this past storm. It is mostly gone now as the temperatures are warm enough even in the high country this time of year.

Really nice. I thought those snowcapped peaks were clouds until you said "snow." Great sky as usual to complement the landscape.

Wow, more than the shot what surprises me is you actually waited in all that traffic to get out to that point. I was out there that day too but gave up after it took me 30 minutes to go half a mile down the road. Great shot.
