This odd combination of lighting (sunny foreground, shaded and stormy background) as well as the rainbow made for interesting contrast.

I found that rainbows are affected by polarizers: turning the polarizer one way eliminates the rainbow while turning it the other way enhances it.

I'm sick of titles.

Ah, one of my favorites! Love the colors. Could you make this a wallpaper? :)

Pesky titles... but it's the posts that I'm having trouble with. Heh.

Glad you got the comments working again! :)

Exceptional Ryan! Definitely one of my favorites I've ever seen on your site. It has so much to offer the eye in terms of light, color, contrast, variety, and lines. Very nicely done.

Nice picture. I want to go to the beach now! Maybe on Saturday.

I agree with Liz. This should be a wallpaper.

Thanks for all the wonderful comments!

I actually made the wallpaper last night, but decided not to put it up due to its grainy nature at high resolutions.

Anyway, there ya go!

Beautiful. I think it helps capture Hawaii, or what I've heard of it. Lots of rain and lots of sun at the same time. This reminds me of several songs....

Yah - titles are hard to come up with. We need a program that sees our fotos and comes up with its own title! Great foto - such excellent color range and composition.

Wowwwwww! Talk about right place at the right time. This is just incredible. There are so many elements of this photo that would be great by themselves, but combined..... unbelievable.
