First I want to thank everyone for all the wonderful comments on yesterday's photo!

Yes, one more water droplet macro...for now, at least. Sorry if I'm overdoing them, but I've got a ton, and can't help posting them as it is one of my favorite types of subject matter. This shot is hopefully enough different than the previous two...

This being a yellow flower, I couldn't apply much contrast without it looking too oversaturated, and a slightly desaturated look just didn't fit the bill, so here is a b&w macro.

Enjoy the clarity...if you look really closely, you can see the reflection of a palm in the left droplet (check the wallpaper if you can't see it). I think this is as close as I could get, which is 1:1, and at f/2.8 and 100mm, the depth of field is less than a milimeter...and when it's windy, and your getting rained on, a fraction of a milimeter is not very much to work with.

I went shooting at ASU after classes yesterday evening, so I have several to post from that set. I think you will enjoy them, and they will be a break from the endless normal rotation of hawaii, landscape, and macro.

Itis always fun to see what can be seen in the droplets. This makes a very good b&W.
