This is a shot from a looong way back. I was living in Lincoln Nebraska at the time. This is Holmes Lake; if you go back to the very biginning of this photoblog you can see shots from here. Processing (from jepg) includes slight warming via a warming filter, levels adjustment, and finally straightening. I know this sunset may not be spectacular, but I do like the reflection and the moon.

I have learned a few things since those days. Going back and looking through old photos is a lot of fun; if for no other reason than to see how far you've come! I know I keep improving every day though...always something new to learn.

I remember the beautiful sunsets at Holmes Lake. I love the brilliant reflection on the water.

Great timing, capturing the sky with brilliant colors very serene yet depicts a strong emotion...
