This is another shot taken in Sedona a while back. I'm not sure why I never got around to posting it. This is looking east from the top of Doe Mesa. Here you can see More images looking west towards the setting sun. You can also see several other images from Doe Mesa by going to my archives, category: desert.
The dark sky is the result of the polarizer at 10mm. Some consider it an annoying effect, but I quite like it myself.

Very true, I didn't see that. My only comment would be that you would loose the cloud perspective if you cropped it too much. Thanks for the thought, and I'll give it a shot. If you look at the square crop on the archives, I cropped just the right side, actually :).
