"Black & White"
General: 6:50 PM on 7/20/06 | Canon 20D
Technical: 1/125sec | f/5.0 | 100mm (160mm) | ISO-200
Lens: EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM
Exposure Mode: Manual
Exposure Bias: +0
Flash: 580EX

With a little color in between, of course!

Can anyone guess what this is (ie, what the water droplet is resting on)? The next photo will show a slightly larger "picture".

For processing, I just adjused the normal brightness/contrast; in other words, the black to white transition is normal, no gradients, dodging or burning, etc. Contrast is obviously higher, but still tame enough for the droplet caught in the middle.

This must be a waterdrop?!

Very nice capture, I like the colours and the tone.

Sorry, I thought that was obvious. :)

I meant what the water droplet is on.

Lovely shallow DoF Ryan. I'm gonna plump for a leek or onion or similar edible bulb type shoot. BTW, I take you are pretty busy these days, sometimes long gaps in your posts. :(
