Yesterday, I had some time to kill after class, so I brought my camera and took some much awaited photos of the ISTB2 (Interdisciplinary Science and Technology Building II). You can see why we don't call it by it's full name.
This relatively new building (constructed within the last 2 years) has an narrow 4 story atrium down the middle with a mesh overhead, letting in some sunlight. It is crowded with catwalks made mostly of mesh which gives it a very industrial-like quality. Giant, slow moving fans circulate air and mainly add to the atmosphere. ISTB2 houses mostly mechanical & aerospace laboratories.
These are benches at the bottom of the atrium.

Nice B&W. The title fits well. The perspective is nice too.

Yeah, I love the title too !
You really managed to make a well balanced shot : first regarding contrast : white reflection on the banks & dark arm rests ; also regarding texture : very smooth banks, rather coarse floor.
Plus a framing which leads to questionning at first sight.
In my opinion a very succeeded shot ! I love it !

superb example of graphism. you've managed to make what seem to be uninviting 'cold' benches very attractive.
