This is some sort of shell along the beach in Hawaii. This was during the evening, so I made use of ISO1600 and my fast f/2.8 macro. I'm not sure how happy I am about the focus/depth of field, but it works for the overall image, I guess. I do like how you can see the details of the reflection on the shell.

This is a spectacular macro as well as abstract shot with great lightm contrast and strong composition with the dynamic diagonal lines. The clear water adds a strong feeling of freshness too.
