This a study area in the ISTB2 (Interdisciplinary Science and Technology Building 2), the subject of the last week of photos. This "glass cube" is only about 9 or 10 ft on each side and is seemingly suspended in the atrium.

The green seems out of place but an earthy relief in contrast to the industrial feel of the rest of the building. Is the chair comfortable?

I'm going to be seeing yellow and black stripes in my sleep :) These images are making quite an interesting series. I have to agree with your Mom though. When this first opened, I thought the chair clashed with the yellow stripes.
