An abstract to start off the weekend. I am going to try to focus more on abstract (macros) in the near future, so here's a start.

This is the Mexican Bird of Paradise, which is quite common here in the desert as it does very well in the heat. Speaking of heat, it's been hovering around 110 degrees all week, with no end in sight.

This is beautiful. I hope it's the start of a really nice string of macro and abstract shots from you.

Spectacular color. When your site opened it took me by surprise. It has a neon glow to it:-)

Wow ! This one makes for a great abstract !

These tones really flash against the deep blackness of the background. Love it !

My first reaction: "Sweeeeeeetttttttt."

LOVE this photograph. The pinks are amazing, and the DOF is out of this world. Very abstract.

Exquisite! This has to be one of my favorite abstracts - and you know I love this color.

A beautiful start of the abstract macros, Ryan, and a wonderful red color.
