It's the start of the monsoon season here, so we're finally getting some much needed moisture. I was quite glad my lens has weather sealing, but since my current camera does not (and I was quickly becoming quite soaked), I didn't stay out too much longer.

Don't ask me why I was shooting on program. I forgot to check, I guess.

See my flickr for more images of rain.

Very nice capture, I like the focus very much. I tried doing the same thing with snow this past winter, but it did not work out very well.

Don't be ashamed to use the P mode, it's what all the pros use :). I use manual only when I shoot indoors, and A when I bracket at different exposures.

I like this a lot. It sets a very distinct mood for me, but I can't put my finger on exactly what that mood is. Maybe a mixture of dark, mysterious, silence.

It came out, so I'll forgive you about the shooting mode. It's the product that's more important in my book.

I like the lack of focus here. I've seen so many shots of water drops and water explosions and stuff lately. It's nice to see something different.

Hum, good framing, I guess. But not enough DOF for me. :s

I've always wanted to do a photo which really shows just how heavy a monsoon rain could be, now I definitely have an idea, a very inspiring shot. Thank you.
