"Bryce Canyon at Sunrise I"
General: Canon Rebel 2000
Technical: f/11.0 | 17mm
Film: Fuji Sensia
Lens: EF 17-40mm f/4L USM

We took some images at the rim of the canyon (it's not really a canyon) at sunrise before we hiked down into it. This was shot with my Rebel 2000 at 17mm and around f/9-f/11 on a tripod. I really love how naturally and organically the film captures the bright sunlight peering over the horizon. I also used my graduated ND filter without which the sky would have been completely blown out. This is one of, if not my favorite picture from the trip.

I saw this area when I was 10 years old. I still see it in my mind's eye. Nice capture.

Just stunning. I can only imagine what it must have been like to have been standing there with camera in hand, knowing that you were on the verge of a FANTASTIC image.

What a breath-taking picture. I love the subtle light cast over the pinacles, as well as the feeling of depth. This makes me feel like I was actually here at the moment. Very nice work.
